Each 5 ml syrup contains Thiamine Hydrochloride BP 5 mg, Riboflavin Sodium Phosphate BP 2.74 mg equivalent to Riboflavin 2 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride BP 2 mg, Nicotinamide BP 20 mg & Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate BP 27.5 mg equivalent to elemental Zinc 10 mg.
Biozinc-B is a special preparation of zinc and B-vitamins.
Biozinc-B is indicated for the treatment and prevention of B-vitamins and Zinc deficiencies in infants, children & adults.
Adults: 10 ml (2 teaspoonful) 2 to 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician.
Children: 10 ml (2 teaspoonful) 1 to 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician.
Infants: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) 1 to 2 times daily or as recommended by the physician.
Biozinc-B is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this product.
In acute renal failure, zinc accumulation may occur, so dosage adjustment is needed. This is not intended for the treatment of severe specific deficiencies.
Biozinc-B is generally well tolerated.
This is recommended in pregnancy and lactation.
Generally no interactions have been observed.
In case of overdosage, initially epigastric pain, diarrhea & vomiting can occur. Should seek emergency medical attention in case of overdose. Initially an emetic should be given and then gastric lavage and general supportive measures should be employed.
Keep in a cool and dry place, protect from light.
Each bottle contains 100 ml syrup with a plastic spoon.
